Austin was the first geography for PRP, and it is keen on transferring its experience to other parts of the country. Primary initiatives for PRP-Austin are:
1 Crowdsourcing
App-based data gathering that can be used to inform public policy and drive research. After hitting critical mass through volunteer efforts, the City is now noodling into the database.
2 Free Consultations
For restaurants interested in profitable pathways to going green. We can help restaurants access financial support programs, see the hidden financial costs of single-use, and roll various line items into P&L of what full cost accounting implementation would look like.
We are also in the process of adding a High School initiative, circular food systems programs, and a Senior Living initiative.
